We think it’s her year. But of course, she’ll have to share it with Leo.
Because we all know this is his best chance at finally scoring Oscars gold (he’s pretty on edge about it, too). But if the Golden Globes really do forecast the Academy Awards, then Brie has a pretty good shot at a statue this year as well.
Larson has been in the acting game for quite some time now (her first acting job was in ’98 when she was just 9 years old), and she’s always been super edgy when it comes to her fashion sense.
But now that she’s in the ultimate spotlight this awards season, people are starting to recognize her incredible personal style… Including us, obviously. Her effortless mix of edge (leather leggings, plaid shirts, and crazy pattern mixing) with femininity (embellishment, classic shapes, and soft ‘dos) makes for one hell of a wardrobe.
We know you want to steal Brie Larson’s style. We all do. So here’s how to get the look by shopping your favorite local boutiques.
You’ll be the best dressed lady in the Room. (Sorry, we had to).
We love Brie’s ability to take typically masculine pieces and make them feminine with styling. Whether she’s rocking leather on leather — successfully, at that — or making a 90s trend look current again (hello grunge), she nonetheless looks perfectly put together.

Alexander Wang High Rise Boyfriend Jeans $300 | Fabio Rusconi Patent Leather Oxford $209.95 |
Proenza Schouler Small ‘PS1’ Crossbody Bag $990
A formal short is TOTALLY our jam, and pattern mixing and pops of color are our bread and butter. To balance out the bare-legged look, Brie knows to go more covered up on top with a blazer. We chose a cardigan to dress the look down a bit, but maintained the polish with chic black pumps. (Steal Her Style secret: Don’t be afraid to mix navy and black — Such a sophisticated combo).

Red Carpet Style
First of all, we all saw the red carpet realness that was Brie’s golden dress at the Golden Globes (how appropriate). We also all saw her cuh-razy abs. But when it comes to lower-key carpets, she tends to opt for bold minis and a soft updo. We definitely don’t hate it.
